We have had to design, build and deliver a turn-key solution that factored in carton pick, pallet storage, single item pick and x-dock operations under one roof and with the capacity to grow over the short term with the business. The operation had three different 3PL's working within it on different parts of the business' logistical needs.
Working as programme managers and using Prince2 methodologies, SCS UK were able to provide high level milestones to the board and maintain control of the multiple work-streams. Delivering individual projects such as property, IT and facilities, racking, MHE and operational processes. We had full control of delivering this state of the art facility in the midlands.
